East Cobb Women’s Support Group @ East Cobb Government Center
Sep 1 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

This support group is run by a Professionally Trained Group Facilitator who has extensive experience with individuals contemplating or facing issues of separation, divorce, and/or co-parenting issues.  This particular group is women only and there is no cost to attend or other attendance requirements.

We encourage individuals to attend at least one session and to come as often as is needed and at any time during their personal journeys.  Individuals attend who are facing and sometmes struggling with issues such as questioning the ability to save the marriage, the hurt of broken promises, the fear of uncertain times to come, and the desire to protect the family’s future (who often are very young) and to address the realities of co-parenting.

As individuals face the emotional ordeal of divorce, professional mental health care is ever important and sometimes intimidating to access.  Visions Anew facilitates these groups to assist individuals in caring for themelves and to help pinpoint what kind of therapist would be helpful to them.   Take care by attending a session.

“Brewing our Vision” Fundraiser @ Eventide Brewing
Sep 18 @ 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Join us for an amazing evening of professional networking while enjoying a cold brew, and supporting a valuable mission.

Each guest will receive a souvenir pint glass, 6 beer tastings, and a curated tour of the facility.

More importantly, you will be supporting an organization that supports divorcing families. As a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, we rely on donations from the community through direct donation and through fundraisers like this one.

Over our 18 year history, we have transformed the lives of over 900 women, and by extension thousands of children. Come be a part of funding this important mission.

Eventide Brewing was formed out of friendship and a love of good beer. Nathan, Haley, and Geoffrey all met at Georgia Southern, and later on began to experiment with homemade pickles, mustard, cheese, and beer. Nathan and Geoffrey’s first batch of beer was brewed on a “Mr. Beer” kit. Shortly after realizing they needed to upgrade, Nathan fabricated a three kettle brew system, which is still used to create our test brews today. Mathew joined the team a few years later after being introduced to the group through one of Haley’s close friends. The combination of everyone’s background and talents has allowed us to build this company from the ground up, become closer friends, and craft award winning beer. We are very happy to call Atlanta home and to provide this great city with offerings that will really show what “Craft” can be. To us, great doesn’t have to be complicated.

Divorce Survival Retreat Weekend
Oct 14 @ 3:00 pm – Oct 16 @ 3:00 pm

Divorce is in the top five most stressful experiences of your life. Divorce is about business, and about emotion. You are in a situation where you need to make some of the most important decisions of your life, when you are at your least emotionally strong.
Let us help you navigate these treacherous waters with education and support. It is always best to have all the facts in order to make an educated decision. It is always best to have emotional support when experiencing major life changes.
The weekend brings these two sides together in a way that has transformed the lives of hundreds of women already.
We don’t advocate divorce, but we do know that divorce is happening in record numbers, and families are being devastated by it.
Join others who are experiencing the same thing, and learn from professionals how to best take care of yourself and your family.

The cost of the weekend is $299.00 which includes the Weekend retreat ( Friday thru Sunday) accommodation and meals, presentations by professionals, and a list of Professionals who offer reduced ( and in some cases, free) consultations on the law, your finances, your emotions, your children etc.

It is $125 to register, and the balance is due at the Retreat.

If you need a payment plan, please contact the Visions Anew office,we are happy to make a zero interest payment plan for you. 770.953.2882
