- What designations, certifications, or special training do you have to qualify you to work with issues of divorce? For example, do you hold a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designation, or are you a trained Collaborative Professional? For how long have you worked in financial planning or accounting with divorce issues?
- How do you charge for your services? Fees? Hourly? Commissions?
Combination? - Are you fully knowledgeable in tax matters as they pertain to divorce?

- Have you ever testified in court?
- Do you prepare Business Valuations? What is your certification?
- Do you typically get involved in Settlement conferences?
